What is E-Sharm card ?

The e-ShramCard (labour card) launched by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, With e-SharmCard Govt will give Job opportunities, Financial support, Health insurance, Life insurance, to unorganized sector workers.

Govt will also use database to understand movement of migrant workers, and give them better oppotunities.

E-Shram card benefits

• Free life insurance.
• Upto ₹ 2,00,000 on accident, death or major injury.
• Free health insurance.
• Upto ₹ 5,00,000 free treatment under PM Aysuhman Bharat or Him Card
• Upto ₹ 1,20,000 in plain area and ₹ 1,30,000 in hilly area for house construction.
• Upto ₹ 3000 monthly pension for person older than 60 years

E-Shram card eligibility criteria

• Age should be between 16-59 years
• Should not be a member of EPFO (Employee providend fund) or ESIC (Employees State Insurance).
• Should not be an income taxpayer
• Must be working in the unorganized sector

E-Shram card application fee

• ₹ 0 for first time.
• ₹ 20 for future updation.

• Aadhar Card
• Bank Passbook
• Electricity Bill/Ration card
• Mobile Number

How to apply for E-Shram card ?

• Open https://register.eshram.gov.in e shram website link
• Enter mobile number linked to Aadhar card.
• Fill the captcha
• Click on "Send OTP" button, it will send OTP (One time password) to your phone.
• Enter the OTP and submit, It will open a form
• Fill all the details correctly in form and click on submit.
• Then you can download eshram card PDF and take print out on any shop.
